XML External Entity (XXE): Unsafe XML parsing using raw simplexml_load_string allowed external entities to be resolved during JSON conversion, exposing the application to local file disclosure and SSRF. Future implementations must consistently leverage Zend\Xml\Security to prevent XXE.
